City 06:23
All life, keeps falling down on this world gone wrong and the shadows whisper names all the lights are on outside but the city feels all alone Everything is glass and rain, Lay me down, cause it’s cold outside and the ghosts have come to feed All those lies spoken lightly Chasing gold and the top of things But the trail grows cold under the streets Light as rain we fall from the skies Numb with cold and neon lights They gather down below, waiting Reading the truth in our lies. All those lies spoken lightly Chasing gold and the top of things But the trail grows cold under the streets

Cycle #248 05:14
It comes in waves Some days you just stare at it in the face While some others it just runs you over, Like a tidal wave It comes in waves One day it finds you smiling away, And some others it covers you in shadow Like this damned city I keep seeing your face everywhere but you wouldn’t care if I told you: It turns out that shame is the perfect excuse to let it all go. Feeling like running through the power lines, moving with such force so I forget that you’re not here anymore

Defiant 05:39
I wave the shadows across the street Familiar shapes, distant shapes I change course and allow the sun to guide me falling in the movement of metropolis walking for just another day. Neverwhere and everywhere This place surrounds us But we move on, we keep on Falling in the movement of metropolis walking for just another day. We run, we fly Get yourself up come together When the time comes raise your fist and smile To do it all over again We will find ourselves Defiant.

Ascension 07:42
“I get out the bus at eight street and central Barely any rain tonight, But seven shadows say my name.” Gas lights are phantoms coloring dead buildings. Dead buildings like faces staring at me in the rain. The rain covering me. Lonely streets, deadly streets, cold cold hearts without anywhere to hide, anywhere to run. Everyone together, but so very far apart. I hear a cry: where did you lost your way? But the way is far down the street and this street leads to nowhere, Nowhere to be found, nowhere to be seen. In the middle of the night there is a moon, it shatters down the pools of dirty rain but there is a light in the same sky, above, where the rain is clear and the voices are heard.

Outsider 06:05
In a world with no answers questions define us lies and false hopes It’s all written down People running in circles waiting for salvation expecting some miracle cure for their loneliness Don’t run, don’t be afraid Look inside your mind find your own truth find your reason to smile hold me close
9.
There are moments of clarity Here they are Different worlds colliding Like stardust falling from the sky Unnoticed, unaware Faces touching, fingers brushing Holding faces with eyes wide open Smiling to the sun There are moments of clarity In our passing through, Here they are, If you look close enough. There is peace and joy and love If you let them shine through.

Curtains fall and the circus leaves town Big top crumbles down as its lights extinguish once more Nightlights and fireflies join me in this runaway road Ocean’s breeze and the sweet smell of grass I take the road home where my back will hurt no more where my eyes will finally see and my soul will be at peace.
